Keep drafts beside the evidence they stand on and the voice they follow.

Where this comes from
This guide is distilled from src/features/growth-kit/help/content/growth.ts. When the guide and Growth-OS disagree, that document is the one to trust, and the difference is worth reporting.

Drafts kept where the proof is
The value of writing a draft here is not storage. It is that the evidence records, the approved voice and the campaign it serves are one click away, and that every version you save stays readable afterwards.
Growth-OS publishes nothing. There is no scheduling and no channel connection. The channel on a record says where the text is meant to go; taking it there is a person's job.
Choose the channel first
Four stored values: LinkedIn, blog, email and sales enablement. Unlike a campaign channel, which is free text, this one is checked on every save, so counting content per channel stays possible without cleaning up spellings first. A channel outside the list is refused rather than stored as a private variant.
Say what the draft stands on
Link the evidence records behind each claim and the messaging record whose voice you followed. Links must resolve to records in this same project, which is what makes a link a check rather than a note. A record carries up to 40 links and refuses a duplicate; if a draft needs more, it is usually two drafts.
Put the draft in review with a named owner before it is used. Moving any record to active requires one owner, so the question of who is accountable is answered before the draft is in circulation rather than after.
Revisions and races
Every save records a revision, and the record's dialog lists the latest 30. A save carries the version you started from, so if somebody else saved while you were writing, your save is refused instead of overwriting them and your text stays in the editor.
A declined draft keeps its revisions and its links, which is usually more useful later than a deleted one.
