Comparison
Growth-OS vs a general-purpose CRM
A CRM is built to hold contacts and move them through stages, and to send from the same place. Growth-OS is built to link those contacts to quoted evidence, decisions, objectives and money. It does not send anything, so it replaces the notes, not the outbound tooling.
| Feature | WISEPIM Growth-OS | A general-purpose CRM |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts and pipeline | ||
| Companies, people and pipeline stages | ||
| Sending email, sequences and a shared inbox | ||
| Imported activity beside a person | From the sources you connect on the Sources page | Its own inbox and its own marketplace |
| Evidence | ||
| A claim must carry an exact quote | The server refuses evidence whose quote is not in a linked transcript | Free-text notes |
| Turning a transcript into records | A model proposes, the server verifies the span, a person approves each one | Usually a summary you paste into a note |
| Opening the accounts and quotes behind a count | The evidence explorer expands every count to its original quotes | Reports run on fields, not on what was said |
| Strategy and money | ||
| Objectives, bets, experiments and open questions | Outside what a CRM is for | |
| Decisions with alternatives, evidence and a review date | Outside what a CRM is for | |
| Budget, expenses, subscriptions, payments and invoices | Seven finance pages, ending in a monthly review | Outside what a CRM is for |
| Fit | ||
| How an account is judged against our ICP | A weighted rule comparison that shows each dimension and its denominator | A field somebody maintains, or a score you cannot take apart |
| Campaigns | ||
| What a campaign does | Plans it, freezes who it selected, records the result. Nothing is sent | Plans it and sends it |
Our take
Growth-OS does not replace the CRM we send from, and we should stop expecting it to. Keep the sending where it is. Put the reasoning in Growth-OS: the quote that changed our mind, the decision it fed, the objective it serves. This week, open one account in Growth-OS and check whether its ICP fit reads the way you would have argued it in a meeting.
Try it with one real record
One meeting, two approved observations, linked to the account. After that you know enough.
